FRONTIER COOPERATIVE SCHOLARSHIP Program

Frontier Cooperative is offering a scholarship for a student entering a college or technical school to further his or her education in agricultural related studies.

The Frontier Cooperative Scholarship will be awarded to a son/daughter of a parent/legal guardian who is an active stockholder of Frontier Cooperative as defined by the Articles and By-laws of this association. The scholarship recipient’s family must do a minimum of $5,000 in business with the Coop during the year.

Recipient must be accepted as a student in a college or technical school majoring in agricultural-related studies as determined by that school. Upon completion of the first semester of school, the recipient will receive up to $1,000. Recipient must have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by SAT/ACT scores. Recipient must also rank in the top one-half of his/her class.

The Frontier Cooperative Board of Directors will select the recipient(s) based on the criteria established.

NEBRASKA COOPerative COUNCIL                                                     
Education Foundation SCHOLARSHIPs                           

The Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation (NCCEF) will provide nine
scholarships for the 2020/21 academic year to students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

The scholarship program was initiated with the 1993/94 academic year as an important addition to the Council's youth education efforts. Since that time, 198 scholarships totaling $220,600 have been provided to students.

Scholarship committees at UNL, NCTA, and UNK make the selection of recipients based on criteria established for each scholarship. The Foundation only verifies local cooperative affiliation and Council membership requirements.
Individuals will need to complete an online application form and submit it electronically to UNL, NCTA, or UNK by April 15, 2020. The application forms are available on the Foundation/Scholarships page of the Council’s website at:
