Frontier Cooperative is excited to announce that Kay Kudlacek has accepted the position of Controller/CFO and officially assumed duties in July 2018. Kudlacek will lead the accounting department and have a key role as part of Frontier’s Senior Leadership Team. Kudlacek will be instrumental in developing her accounting team members and leading the overall accounting process for Frontier Coop that aligns with the company’s growth strategy for the future.
Kudlacek has over 25 years of progressive work experience in both public and private accounting. She started her career as a Certified Public Accountant and then worked a Controller for a real estate development company in Omaha. Later, she moved to St. Louis, Mo., where she was the Controller and Director of Finance for one of the top certified public accounting firms in the country. After 17 years in St. Louis, Kudlacek returned to the rural Brainard area in 2015 and worked as a CPA in David City.
Kudlacek grew up on a family farm near Ulysses and attended East Butler High School. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. She is a member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kudlacek also serves as a Board Member of Future Generations Health Care Foundation and is a long-standing member of the Dwight American Legion Auxiliary.
