Frontier Cooperative Offers Scholarship Program

The Program – Frontier Cooperative is offering a scholarship for a student entering a college or technical school to further his or her education in agricultural-related studies.
 
Eligibility – The Frontier Cooperative Scholarship will be awarded to a son/daughter of a parent/legal guardian who is an active stockholder of Frontier Cooperative as defined by the Articles and By-laws of this association. The scholarship recipient’s family must do a minimum of $5,000 in business with the Coop during the year.
 
Recipient must be accepted as a student in a college or technical school majoring in agricultural-related studies as determined by that school. Upon completion of the first semester of school, the recipient will receive up to $1,000. Recipient must have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by SAT/ACT scores. Recipient must also rank in the top one-half of his/her class.
 
Selection – The Frontier Cooperative Board of Directors will select the recipient(s) based on the criteria established.

Following a thorough review of applications, Frontier’s Board of Directors carefully selected the recipients based on various criteria, including minimum GPA requirements, a commitment to continued education with a focus on agricultural-related studies, and active involvement in the local agricultural and Frontier Cooperative community.
