Career Pathway Program

Creating opportunities outside of the classroom

Frontier Cooperative's Career Pathway program will provide current high school junior and seniors a solid foundation and understanding of what an agriculture career has to offer by extending an opportunity to establish critical technical skills while gaining well-rounded experience within Frontier.

Overview of Job Duties

  • Support operations and perform duties associated with Frontier's business units.
  • Assist with inventory and work on various projects at the location as needed.
  • Maintain and exceed company image at work, in the public and social media.
  • Help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with facility housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers.

Work Schedule

The schedule is based on the participants' school schedule. Our core hours of work are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. The participants availability would need to fall within our business hours. School breaks during winter and summer would be a great time to engage in the program.

The Career Pathway Program is guided by three foundational principles: exposure, experience, and engagement.

  • Exposure to multiple business functions provides the opportunity to build a strong understanding of Frontier and opportunities in agriculture.
  • Experience in a variety of job duties through on-the-job learning.
  • Engagement in meaningful work and collaboration allows participants to feel empowered and thrive in their area of interest.
