Frontier Cooperative Welcomes 2026 Summer Interns
Jun 12, 2026
Frontier Cooperative is proud to welcome eleven college students to our 2026 Summer Internship Program. Interns are stationed across our Frontier locations, each taking on a specialized role within one of our business units. With guidance from a dedicated mentor, every intern gains hands‑on experience and industry knowledge essential for success in today’s rapidly evolving agricultural landscape.
Throughout the summer, interns will participate in professional development opportunities including trainings, industry-partner tours, community service projects, and regular check‑ins with Frontier leadership. These experiences are designed to deepen their understanding of the cooperative system, strengthen their skills, and provide a firsthand look at how Frontier serves its farmer-owners.
“At Frontier Cooperative, our interns are more than observers - they're valued members of the team who gain real-world experience, take on meaningful responsibilities, and learn what it’s like to work for a farmer-owned cooperative," said Rachel Niemann, VP of The Frontier Experience. “We hope to equip a generation of leaders who serve our farmers and communities for years to come.”
By the end of the program, each intern will complete a capstone project aligned with their interests and designed to help advance innovative ideas that help better serve our farmer-owners. The Frontier Cooperative internship program continues to provide valuable learning opportunities for students while supporting the cooperative's commitment to developing future industry professionals.
